Tucked in the hills of North Chattanooga, Wheelhouse construction is building a pair of extraordinary homes designed by Hefferlin + Kronenberg Architects.  They include a striking three story townhome with pool patio and neighboring cottage that integrate beautifully into the hillside corner lot. Limited space influenced the slate-clad townhome’s handsome verticality. Designed for family living and entertaining guests, the home has an open, fluid rhythm. The first floor living and dining space flows into a shaded patio that leads to a sleek pool deck. A master suite with a balcony and two bedrooms occupy the second floor. Looking down from the third floor are a covered roof deck and open roof garden. Expert planning artfully harmonizes the gable roof cottage into the overall site plan. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. The site includes a courtyard, landscaping, lawns, two driveways, and a two-car garage for each structure.
